CTETonly one of its kind-in the country, meets the growing need for Advanced Textile Engineering & Technological Education in Bangladesh as well as in the world. The College has a long past history. During the British colonial rule in 1921 a weaving school was established in Narinda, Dhaka to meet Textile Technician Education by offering art isan level course. It was named as East Bengal Textile Institute.
